Hulu and Amazon this week will add nine new TV shows and movies to their subscription Video on Demand lineups, including two original shows from Amazon.

Also notable: Hulu will add Detroit, the 2017 drama based on the race riots in the Motor City in 1967. The film, directed by Kathryn Bigelow (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hurt Locker), was named to some critics’ ‘best films of 2017’ lists.
