Netflix has cancelled the pot comedy, Disjointed, after one season and 20 episodes. writes Deadline.com.

The 30-minute show, which was co-created by Chuck Lorre (The Big Bang Theory, Two And a Half Men), starred Kathy Bates as the head of a legal marijuana dispensary in Los Angeles.

While Netflix does not release viewing numbers, Disjointed left critics feeling dazed and confused. (But not in the good way.)

RottenTomatoes.com, which tracks critical response, gave the show a score of just 23 out of a possible 100. Only seven of 30 critics surveyed by the site said they liked the show.

“There’s not enough weed in the Golden State to wring consistent laughs from a show that’s mostly as stale as an unwashed bong,” sniffed Brian Lowry of CNN.com.

Despite the critical slings, Deadline says Lorre plans to shop the show to another network, or streaming service.
