YouTube TV today is expected to add several Turner-owned channels including TNT, TBS, CNN, truTV, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and Turner Classic Movies, according to BuzzFeed.com.

However, the site writes that YouTube TV will also raise its price from $35 to $40, although it’s unclear if the new price will only be for new customers. The BuzzFeed report says the new price will go into effect next month.

Update: YouTube TV today confirmed the addition of the Turner channels, and that its price will rise to $40 a month on March 13 for new customers. However, if you subscribe prior to March 13, your price will remain $35 a month.

The Google-owned live streaming service yesterday posted an alert on its web site that said it will deliver a ‘Valentine’s Day’ surprise. But it did not indicate what the surprise would be.

However, BuzzFeed obtained an embargoed press release that contained the information regarding the new channels and pricing. After publishing the details, the site deleted the information regarding the channels and pricing.

Several other news sites, however, had seen the initial BuzzFeed report and published their own stories on the ‘surprise.’

The BuzzFeed story also said YouTube TV will add the MLB Network and NBA TV channels as well as the ability to subscribe to MLB.TV and the NBA League Pass.

Update: YouTube TV today said the sports channels and services will be added soon.
