Dish will hold a free preview of eight channels from December 1 through January 1, the satcaster announced today.

The preview, which the satcaster is calling ‘Binge-A-Palooza,’ includes AMC, Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Food Network, Pixl, Get TV, BET and the Cooking Channel.

The eight channels will be available to Dish subscribers throughout the month regardless of which programming package they get. Dish customers will be able to watch the channels live or On Demand via the channels’ apps.

In addition, Dish said today that it will again offer the ‘Yule Log’ channel from December 13 to January 2. The channel displays a roaring fire in a fireplace to help get Dish subscribers in the mood for the holidays.

Dish this month will also hold a free preview of the NBA League Pass, and NBA TV channel, from December 15 through December 17.
