Black Friday: Amazon Already Cutting TV Prices

Amazon today is continuing its week-long Black Friday sale with sharp discounts on hundreds of electronics products, including Amazon devices and televisions.

Today’s deals include discounts on several Amazon devices such as its new Fire HD 10 tablet, which has been slashed from $149 to $99, and the Kindle Paperwhite, which has been reduced $30 to $89.

But Amazon has also slashed the price on some premium televisions including:

* Samsung 55-inch 4K Smart TV (2017 Model) — $597 (25% Off)
* LG 55-inch OLED 4K Smart TV (2017 Model) — $1,496 (35% Off)
* Samsung 55-inch 4K Smart TV — $498
* Sony 65-inch 4K Smart TV (2017 Model) — $1,198 (20% off)

Future deals this week will also include the Amazon Echo Dot for $29.99, the company’s lowest-price ever for its smaller version of the Echo digital assistant with ‘Alexa’ voice commands. The Echo Dot normally goes for $49.99.

Amazon says it will also sell a “premium-brand” 40-inch Smart TV for $279, although it does not reveal the name of the premium-brand nor whether the set will be 4K or just HD.
