Sling TV has added the NBC-owned Olympic Channel to its package of “Sports Extra’ channels.
The Olympic Channel, which debuted last July, is produced in partnership with the International Olympic Committee and the United States Olympic Committee. The channel features live events, video highlights, and segments and documentaries about the games and its athletes.

Sling has added the Olympic Channel to the Sports Extra plan for its ‘Blue’ subscribers. The live streaming service offers two basic plans — the Orange plan, which starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks, and the Blue package, which costs $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels.

The Sports Extra add-on package, which costs an additional $5 a month, includes the Pac 12 Network and several other channels including NBA TV, the SEC Network, ESPNU, ESPNews, Outside TV and the NHL Network.
Sling TV also announced today that it added Mexicanal, which offers Spanish-language sports, news and entertainment shows, to its Mexico add-on package, which costs an additional $10 a month.
