Comcast and Dish tonight will tip off a week-long free preview of the NBA League Pass.
The NBA season begins tonight with a doubleheader featuring Boston at Cleveland at 8 p.m. ET and Houston at Golden State at 10:30 p.m. ET.

The NBA League Pass, which offers up to 40 out-of-market games each week, costs $199 for the entire season. (Note: Local blackout restrictions apply, meaning you can not watch your local team via the package.)
Dish is also offering a free preview of NBA TV, the 24/7 channel which airs live NBA games, studio shows and documentaries about the league.
The satcaster also offers the NBA Team Pass plan, which allows you to watch one out-of-market team for the season. The Team Pass costs $119.

Dish and Comcast’s free preview of the NBA League Pass (and Dish’s NBA TV preview), will run from tonight to Tuesday, October 24.
Note: There may be other pay TV providers participating in the free League Pass preview, but TV Answer Man could not find any notices at their web sites this morning.
