Amazon apparently agrees that 4K Blu-ray discs cost too much. The etailer has just launched a promotion that includes three 4K Blu-ray titles for $49.99.

Most 4K Blu-ray titles cost anywhere from $20 to $30 each, which is sometimes twice the price of a regular Blu-ray disc.

The Amazon promotion, which runs until December 31, 2017, effectively lowers the three titles to a little more than $16 each.

The titles in the promotion include Deadpool; The Ghost In the Shell; The Fifth Element, John Wick; The Martian; Prometheus; Rise of the Planet of the Apes; Hidden Figures; The Revenant; Life of Pi; Mad Max (pictured above); Concussion; Underworld; Furious 7; Get Out; E.T; and Split.

There are more than 100 titles available in the deal.
