DIRECTV Now Adds CBS Affiliates, Showtime

DIRECTV Now today made it official, announcing it has added CBS affiliates in 13 markets.

The live streaming service, which is owned by AT&T, began adding the local CBS stations earlier this month. AT&T announced last month that it had struck a deal with CBS to offer its local stations in 25 markets. However, the first phase of the launch is restricted to the 13 markets (See below) with the rest coming later. (Pictured: Kaley Cuoco from The Big Bang Theory.)

DIRECTV Now also announced today that it has added the CBS-owned Showtime, which can be added to a base package for $8 a month.  And it has added the CW channel in three markets: Detroit, Philadelphia and San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose.

The streamer added that it will add the CBS Sports Network to its ‘Go Big’ package, which is $60 a month, and the CBS-owned Pop channel to the ‘Just Right’ plan, which costs $50 a month.
