DIRECTV and Cox will hold a free preview of HBO and Cinemax later this month.
The preview, which will run from Friday, September 29 through Monday, October 2, will coincide with the season nine premiere of HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 1.
The comedy has been off the air for six years due to creative indifference by its star, Seinfeld co-creator Larry David.
In addition to the Curb premiere, HBO will debut the theatrical movie, Why Him, starring Bryan Cranston and James Franco, and air episode four of The Deuce, the new dramatic series about the 1970s adult film industry in New York.
More TV providers are likely to hold the free HBO/Cinemax preview, but have yet to make official announcements. We will update this article if we get more information.
