Netflix this week will add 12 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup, including a much-anticipated original horror film based on a Japanese comic book.
The new additions will include Death Note (pictured above), the aforementioned horror film which stars Nat Wolff as a high school student who can kill bad guys by simply writing their names and means of death on a piece of paper. Shea Whigham (Boardwalk Empire) plays his father, a police officer who investigates his son’s mysterious murders.
Other notable additions this week: Season six of ABC’s Once Upon a Time, and season one of Disjointed, a Netflix original comedy starring Kathy Bates as the head of a Los Angeles-based marijuana shop.
