Sling TV has added the movie-themed channel, Reelz, to its streaming lineup.

Reelz is now available in Sling’s Hollywood Extra add-on plan which costs $5 a month with a Sling Orange and/or Sling Blue basic subscription.
Orange starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks. Blue costs $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels.
The Reelz channel offers a mix of documentaries, movies and original series such as Scandal Made Me Famous, The Kitty Kelley Files and Celebrity Page. Reelz joins Fandor Festival, HDNet Movies, Sundance and TCM in the Hollywood Extra add-on plan.

Sling has also created a new add-on package for the Epix suite of channels which includes Epix, Epix 2, Epix Drive-In and Epix Hits. The Epix package will cost an extra $5 per month.
The EPIX channel features movies and original series, including Get Shorty, based on the Elmore Leonard novel, an movies such as Star Trek Beyond, Me Before You and Arrival.
Finally, last night, Sling TV offered its first-ever PPV event, the UFC 2014 Cormier vs. Jones fight.
