Amazon to Add 48 New Titles In August

Amazon plans to add 48  new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup in August, including four new Amazon original programs, the company revealed yesterday.

The new title list for August includes season one of The Tick, an Amazon original comedy starring Peter Serafinowicz as an accountant who teams with a superhero to stop crime; season one of Lost in Oz, an Amazon original children’s series which continues the journey of Dorothy and her trusty dog, Toto; Comrade Detective, another Amazon original comedy starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Channing Tatum as Romanian police detectives; and season three of Tumble Leaf, the Amazon original children’s series about a fox and his caterpillar friend.

Other notable titles for August: The five films in the Saw horror series; both Bill & Ted movies; and season one of Undercover, a BBC-produced legal drama.
