Comcast Offers Free Preview Of HBO

Comcast today is beginning a free, seven-day preview of HBO and Cinemax for its video subscribers.

Update: If HBO is not showing up on your live channels, check for HBO programming on your Xfinity On Demand service.

The free preview will include the season seven debut of Game of Thrones, which will air on HBO on Sunday, July 16, at 9 p.m. ET.

In addition to the new season premiere, Comcast customers will have an ‘all-access’ pass to watch all past episodes of Game of Thrones via the Xfinity On-Demand service, the Xfinity app and the Xfinity Stream web portal.

The cable op’s subscribers will also have access to a special Game of Thrones destination on Xfinity On Demand which will feature more than 70 pieces of extra content including season recaps, profiles on each kingdom and key characters, and behind the scenes features to learn more about the visual effects, costumes, locations, and language behind the hit series.

  1. It’s July 10th and 6:25 am here and no HBO channels are open or available. Every single one says “subscribe to HBO”.
