The El Rey Network, which was launched four years ago by director Robert Rodriguez, features a mix of original and syndicated programming, largely dramas with a violent theme. The channel’s shows include From Dusk Til Dawn (a series based on Rodriguez’s movie of the same name; series pictured above), Lucha Underground, and the 1980s hit, Miami Vice.

Sprout, which is owned by PBS, is a 24-hour channel targeted to pre-school children. The channel’s shows include Barney & Friends, Bob the Builder and Caillou.
