Sling TV has added the Tribeca Shortlist on-demand channel, which offers hundreds of classic films including The Graduate, Pulp Fiction (pictured above), Gangs of New York and Gone Baby Gone.
The live streaming service, which is owned by Dish, has added Tribeca Shortlist to both its Orange and Blue packages at no extra charge. The channel normally cost $4.99 a month.
Sling offers two basic tier packages — Orange, which starts at $20-a-month and includes ESPN and roughly 30 cable networks; and Blue, which starts at $25-a-month, and includes more than 40 channels including live network feeds in select markets as well as several Fox channels.
In addition the films, Tribeca Shortlist features short videos from actors and directors such as Gary Oldman and Lili Taylor on their favorite films on the channel.
“We’re pleased to partner with our friends at Sling TV on their Orange and Blue services,” Monica Bloom, senior vice president and general manager of Tribeca Shortlist, said in a press release. “Tribeca Shortlist’s curated portfolio of films and expert celebrity commentary is a compelling value proposition for movie lovers everywhere, and we’re delighted to add Sling to our roster of forward-looking partners.”
