The show starred Joel McHale (Community) as the editor of an online magazine and Susannah Fielding as the publisher’s daughter.

The Great Indoors was not a critical darling with RottenTomatoes.com giving the show a score of just 45 percent out of a possible 100. Sixteen of 29 reviewers surveyed by the site said they did not like the show.

“The Great Indoors serves up one repetitive, formulaic joke, though the cast performs respectably within the significant constraints of the material,” RottenTomatoes.com stated.

The ratings also sharply declined over the 22 shows with the live debut episode netting nearly nine million viewers, but the now series finale getting fewer than four million.
