The show starred Mireille Enos (The Killing) and Peter Krause (Six Feet Under) as an engaged couple who are a private investigator and con man respectively. Of course, Enos’ character is unaware of her fiance’s true profession, which was the basis for most of the show’s comedic twists.
The Catch was generally well-received by the critics with season one garnering a score of 72 out of a possible 100 at RottenTomatoes.com. Twenty-six of the 36 reviewers surveyed said they liked the show.

“The Catch… thrives on sophisticated skulduggery, fun stars and swank clothes, homes and offices,” wrote Hal Boedeker, critic for the Orlando Sentinel.
However, the ratings for season two of The Catch didn’t quite hold up to season one when it routinely netted five to six million live viewers. Season two episodes sometimes fell under three million viewers.
The season two (and now series) finale aired last night.
