ABC has canceled the mystery anthology series, Secrets and Lies, after two seasons and 20 episodes.

The show, which starred Juliette Lewis, Ryan Phillippe and Jordana Brewster (among many others), featured Lewis as a detective who investigates murder cases.
Secrets and Lies was not a critical darling with season one garnering only a 36 percent score from RottenTomatoes.com. Only 12 of 33 reviewers surveyed by the site said they like the show.

“While some may find its limited intrigue compelling, Secrets and Lies is ultimately undone by wooden performances, excessive red herrings, and bad scripts,” RottenTomatoes.com writes.
However, the ratings for season one of Secrets and Lies were strong for a rookie drama, often pulling more than six million viewers for the live airing. Season two, though, told another story with the ratings for the live airing often dipping below three million viewers.
