The show starred comedian Ken Jeong as a snarky Korean-American doctor working in a low-budget health care center. Suzy Nakamura played his wife, and mother to their two children.

Dr. Ken debuted season one with more than six million viewers, but the now series finale captured around four million.

The declining ratings, and a devastatingly low RottenTomatoes.com score of just seven percent, made ABC’s call to cancel a relatively easy one.

RottenTomatoes.com says this was the critical consensus for Dr. Ken:

“Somebody please get Dr. Ken a doctor; seeking any signs of life. Or humor.”
