DIRECTV, Dish and AT&T’s U-verse TV service this weekend will hold a free preview of HBO and Cinemax to help promote the final season of HBO’s The Leftovers and a new original HBO movie starring Oprah Winfrey.
Update: Sling TV and Frontier are also offering the free preview.
The free preview will run from Friday, April 21, through Monday, April 24. (Other TV providers may later announce they will hold the preview as well. )

Season three of the supernatural drama, Leftovers, debuted last night on HBO. The show, which stars Carrie Coon and Justin Theroux, centers on the mysterious disappearance of 140 million people from planet Earth and how the survivors learn to cope with the unexplained event.

Episode two of season three of Leftovers will first air on Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET.
HBO this weekend will also debut an original movie, The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, which stars Oprah Winfrey as the daughter of a woman whose bout with an unique cancer led to a remarkable scientific discovery.
The movie will first air at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday night.

The fourth season of the HBO comedy, Silicon Valley, will also debut at 10 p.m. ET on Sunday night while episode two of season six of the Julia Louis-Dreyfuss comedy, Veep, will first air at 10:30 p.m. ET.
