Fox to Charter: Tuesday Is Now D-Day (Updated: Now It’s Wednesday)

Fox last night pushed its deadline for a carriage agreement with Charter one day forward until today.

Update: Fox pushes the Charter deadline until Wednesday; no blackout tonight.

The programmer, which revealed the new deadline at its web site, KeepMyNets.com, did not offer a reason for the one-day extension. Charter also did not issue a statement on the negotiations.

“Attention Charter Spectrum Customers – Including Former Time Warmer Cable and Bright House Networks customers. You May Lose Your Favorite Shows and Sports Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 11,” states KeepMyNets.com.

The two companies have been negotiating a new carriage agreement, but Fox has established a web site,  Channels affected include FX, National Geographic, the Fox Sports channel, the Fox-owned regional sports channels, and Fox Deportes. (Pictured here: The Americans on FX.)

Fox News, the Fox Business Channel and the Fox-owned broadcast affiliates would not be affected; they are operating under a different carriage pact with Charter.
