FuboTV, the live streaming service targeted to sports fans, yesterday announced it has introduced a 50-channel ‘Premier’ bundle for a promotional price of $34.99 for owners of desktops and mobile web services such as smart phones and tablets.
The bundle includes regional sports channels from Fox and NBC (Comcast CSN) as well as a mix of basic cable networks such as Lifetime, USA Network, Galavision, Golf Channel, El Rey Network and NBA TV.
Of the 50 channels in the new bundle, FuboTV says 26 carry sporting events.
Subscribers using Fubo via a desktop or mobile web service have access to a cloud-based DVR which enables recording of select channels and shows
Fubo is also available on Roku, Amazon’s Fire TV, Apple TV and Chromecast, among others, but the company says service on those platforms is still in the Beta phase, which is industry jargon for ‘we’re still working out the kinks.’
You can learn more about FuboTV here. The service includes a 7-day free trial.
