Amazon Prime Adds 17 Movies Today

Amazon has added 17 new movies to its streaming lineup today.

Amazon, and other streaming services, such as Netflix and Hulu, traditionally bolster their streaming offerings on the first day of each month when consumers are more likely to make decisions about subscriptions.

The new title list for today includes Almost Famous, the critically-acclaimed comedy/drama from director Cameron Crowe, based on his teenage adventures as a Rolling Stone correspondent; There Will Be Blood, the award-winning drama from director P.T. Anderson; and the first two installments in the Robocop series.

Click Amazon: Roku 4: $89.

Note: Amazon Prime streaming titles are free to Amazon Prime members. The service, which also includes free 2-day shipping on thousands of Amazon products, costs $99 a year. You can also now order Amazon Prime streaming for $8.99 a month, but the monthly service does not include the other Prime benefits. You can sign up here.
