The show, which stars Paul Giamatti as a Manhattan District Attorney determined to take down a shady hedge fund manager (Damian Lewis), aired its season two debut on the pay TV Showtime on February 19.

Showtime online also streamed that episode several days ahead of the pay TV showing.

By offering episode two of Billions early online, Showtime is allowing subscribers to watch the show before Oscar night (which is also Sunday) to avoid any conflict.

Likewise, HBO says it will stream new episodes of Girls, Big Little Lies and Crashing starting this Friday to avoid competition with the Oscars.
