DIRECTV offers a live 4K channel (channel 106) which since its 2016 spring debut has aired such major events as golf’s Masters tournament, Notre Dame Football, UFC championship bouts and NBA and MLB games.

However, the channel’s lineup is hit-and-miss with several days sometimes passing without a new event.

So I thought it would be valuable to provide you a list of the known upcoming live 4K events that you will find on DIRECTV.

January 21
English Premier League Soccer: Manchester City vs. Tottenham Hotspur (12:30 p.m. ET)

January 22
English Premier League Soccer: Arsenal vs. Burnley (9:15 a.m. ET)

January 24
NBA: San Antonio vs Toronto (7 p.m. ET)

January 31
NBA: Oklahoma City vs. San Antonio (8:30 p.m. ET)

February 25
NBA: Charlotte vs. Sacramento (5 p.m. ET)

February 26
NBA: New Orleans vs. Oklahoma City (7 p.m. ET)

Amazon: 4K TVs between $1,000 and $1,500.

DIRECTV recently  changed the minimum package required to get the live 4K channel to Select so more subscribers could access it as well as the satcaster’s two other 4K channels, which are devoted to recurring programming and Video on Demand.

To watch 4K on DIRECTV, you must get a compatible 4K TV, a DIRECTV HD DVR54 Genie System (or above), and installation of the Genie by a DIRECTV technician.
