Q. I am so damn mad. This morning, I went to my DVR to watch last night’s series final of the O.J. Simpson show on FX and DIRECTV cut off the last 15 minutes! Help! I want to watch the show’s ending. It’s such a great show. — Charles, Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Charlie, there are numerous postings this morning on Twitter and other social media sites that DIRECTV subscribers couldn’t watch the last 10-20 minutes of the series finale of FX’s The People vs. O.J. Simpson. The subs say their DVRs cut off with time remaining in the episode, which ran long last night at one hour and 33 minutes.

I’ve asked DIRECTV for an explanation and will report back here when I get one.
Meanwhile, there is something you can do to watch those precious final minutes of the show.
You can download the FX Now app on smart phones, tablets and numerous streaming devices including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, XBox One, and Samsung Smart TVs. (You can see a complete list here.)
Then, once your download the app, you will be asked to type in your DIRECTV user name and password. After that, you will enter the FX Now menu where you will find…The final episode of The People vs. O.J. Simpson! Yes, FX has already posted the show, which I agree, by the way, is sensational.
You can also watch episode nine, the final episode, at FXNetworks.com.
I hope that helps. Happy viewing!
